About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead architecture for reusable, scalable systems
- Evolve core abstractions, testing, CI/CD, observability, and cost efficiency
- Propose and drive initiatives on behalf of engineering management
- Expand and harden integrations with external advertising platforms
- Develop reusable query templates and optimize pipelines
- Mentor engineers up to L5; set code quality and review standards
- Build cross‑team partnerships
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong in Python and one of Ruby or Go
- Data pipelines with DBT and Airflow
- Snowflake and AWS experience
- Experience with ad‑tech/programmatic and measurement integrations
- CI/CD, containers, test strategy; observability
- Demonstrated, recent hands-on use of AI‑assisted development tools
- Clear technical writing
