About the role
- Extend and maintain internal A/B testing and metrics platforms for experimentation
- Work closely with data scientists and engineers to implement new experimentation methodologies
- Build tooling to help cross-functional teams make better data-driven decisions
- Improve productivity of data practitioners through easy-to-use self-serve tools (Experimentation Platform, Portal, Data Alerting System, dbt + Airflow, Semantic Layer, data quality)
- Mentor other team members and champion engineering excellence
- Suggest and drive new initiatives and collaborate across teams to translate pain points into reliable self-serve solutions
Requirements
- Self-motivation and an enjoyment for a startup environment
- A strong sense of ownership
- Strong knowledge of common data infra technologies (Python, Airflow, Snowflake, dbt) in a production environment
- An ability to balance a sense of urgency with shipping high quality and pragmatic solutions
- Experience working with a large codebase on a cross functional team
- Strong knowledge of SQL
- Strong knowledge of React
- 7+ years of working experience in a similar field/environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical engineering OR equivalent work experience (preferred)
