About the role
- Developer Advocacy: Be our first power user and transform hands-on insights into product improvements. You will be the internal champion for developer needs across engineering, product and leadership
- Content Strategy: Oversee all public-facing content including documentation, blog posts, case studies, and social media. Work with other teams to showcase our best work externally. You will establish .txt as the definitive voice in structured outputs
- Community Building: Create and nurture a thriving developer ecosystem around structured outputs. Create documentation, tutorials, and content that becomes the industry standard
- Strategic Partnerships: Establish and nurture collaborations with key developers, startups, and key partners
- Team Building: Hire and lead a world-class DevRel team as we scale
Requirements
- You've built something real with LLMs and understand the pain of unreliable outputs
- You can understand and explain complex technical concepts in ways that make people excited to learn more
- You've grown developer communities
- You see documentation as product, not afterthought
- You balance developer advocacy with business reality
- You're energized by the challenge of building from zero
- You have experience working at startups
- You live in the Bay Area, or are willing to travel there
- Previous experience managing a team is a plus
