About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop Alfresco web scripts in Java (DeclarativeWebScript) and server-side JavaScript (Rhino), using FreeMarker templates and Spring beans
- Query data through CMIS and repository services (NodeService, SearchService, SiteService)
- Create and maintain scheduled jobs (Quartz) for notifications, reminders, and user management
- Implement authentication and security features, including JWT, MFA/OTP, SSO with Keycloak, impersonation, and multi-tenancy
- Integrate with external services, including Keycloak, Zendesk, AWS S3, and Redis
- Ensure quality through SonarQube, code reviews, and support for end-to-end testing (Playwright)
- Investigate and resolve production incidents using logs, Sentry, and queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Java 11
- Knowledge of Spring, including dependency injection and bean configuration
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs
- Knowledge of JavaScript (Rhino) and FreeMarker
- Understanding of indexing and full-text search
- Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with automated Java testing (JUnit, Mockito)
- Nice to have: Experience with Alfresco web scripts
- Nice to have: Experience integrating with Keycloak
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Quartz, Redis, and Solr
