About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

People Management: Lead, mentor, and develop your team.
SaaS Systems Management and Deployments: Ensure the lifecycle of SaaS applications by implementing continuous, secure, zero-downtime deployments, and manage the infrastructure that supports the software delivery model.
Availability and Resilience: Ensure system SLA/SLOs and manage critical infrastructure incidents.
Cost Governance (FinOps): Monitor, report, and optimize cloud (AWS) costs to prevent waste.
Security and Compliance: Ensure the infrastructure follows security best practices (IAM, encryption, secure networks) and complies with regulations such as LGPD/GDPR.
Technology Evolution: Design cloud architectures and plan migrations or modernization of legacy systems.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong AWS Expertise: Solid knowledge of core services — Compute (EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda), Networking (VPC, Route53, CloudFront), Storage/Database (S3, RDS, DynamoDB).
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Hands-on experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
DevOps/CI/CD Culture: Practical experience with automated deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) for SaaS environments, plus containerization (Docker and Kubernetes).
FinOps: Experience with cost monitoring tools (AWS Cost Explorer, AWS Budgets, or third-party tools).
Observability: Practical experience with monitoring, APM, and logging tools (Datadog, AWS CloudWatch) focused on SaaS application health.
Nice to have: Multi-tenant architecture.
Serverless architecture and microservices.
Multi-cloud / hybrid environments, especially Azure.
Knowledge of AI for coding and troubleshooting.
