Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build and maintain high-quality software applications and services
Lead the technical delivery of complex features and projects
Help modernise and evolve our core platforms and architecture
Collaborate with Product, Operations, Sales, Finance and other business teams to deliver valuable solutions
Support and contribute to engineering standards, code quality and development practices
Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and architectural decisions
Mentor and support other developers, helping raise capability across the team
Improve automation, testing, deployment and operational processes
Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and improve maintainability
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, learning and delivery excellence

Requirements

What you’ll need

Significant experience building and delivering commercial software applications
Highly proficient in C# and the .NET ecosystem
Experience designing and developing web applications, APIs and services
Understands software architecture, design patterns and engineering trade-offs
Experience working with relational databases and writing efficient SQL
Understands automated testing, CI/CD and modern development practices
Can balance technical quality with pragmatic business needs
Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
Enjoy solving real business problems
Takes ownership and accountability for delivery
Cares about maintainability, reliability and long-term quality
Comfortable working in a small team where everyone contributes
Enjoys mentoring others and helping raise engineering standards
