About the role

  • Participate in the planning and coordination of commissioning activities
  • Verify that electrical systems and equipment are installed according to building of design specifications (BOD), Owner’s project requirements (OPR), manufacturer's recommendations, and applicable codes and standards
  • Conduct functional tests on electrical systems and equipment to ensure they operate as intended.
  • Conduct performance tests to verify that electrical systems meet performance requirements under normal operating conditions.
  • Perform protection and coordination testing (SCCS) to ensure that protective devices operate correctly
  • Document all aspects of the commissioning process from L1-L5
  • Provide training to operations and maintenance personnel on the proper operation and maintenance of electrical systems
  • Compile commissioning reports summarizing the results of the commissioning process
  • Ensure that all commissioning activities are conducted in compliance with applicable safety regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in science of electrical engineering
  • 3-5 years of working experience in Data Center HV Substations, MV SWGR, LV SWGR, Busway, UPS, Generator, PDU, RPP
  • Knowledge on NFPA 70E OSHA 10
  • Complete all Safety Certifications
  • Load soak plan
  • Script development for L2-L5 Daily Reports
  • Knowledge on CAD, Bluebeam, others
  • Ability to work directly on site, and ability to travel nationally required.
