About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define and execute the technical roadmap for the data platform
Drive the development of cloud-based data environments across Azure, Databricks and related technologies
Ensure platform scalability, reliability, security and operational excellence
Lead FinOps initiatives, cloud cost optimization and budgeting processes
Implement and improve DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code standards
Manage relationships with technology vendors and coordinate procurement activities
Oversee contracts, SLAs, licensing, purchase orders and invoice validation processes
Collaborate closely with Data, AI, Engineering, Finance and Business stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of experience managing a data platform or technical product
Hands-on experience with Databricks, Azure Data Services or similar cloud data ecosystems
Practical knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
Experience with DevOps/DataOps practices, CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience working with technology vendors, contracts and procurement processes
Understanding of budgeting, purchase orders and financial governance processes
English proficiency at C1 level or higher
