About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on complex assignments with little to no direct supervision
Provide root-cause analysis for recurring or critical problems
Maintain a high-quality test environment for the Government customer
Perform vulnerability remediation and mitigations to reduce cybersecurity risks
Conduct daily system monitoring, system backup and restoral, and application upgrades
Document necessary system changes and actions in systems of record
Advise Government customer on system status, optimization and improvement efforts
Assist system administration team with the deployment of new virtual machines
Perform administration of virtualization environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of general (full-time) work experience
5+ years of directly related experience
1+ year of management or leadership role experience
Experience installing vCenter Server Appliance including configuration and updates
Experience with VMware vSphere 7.0 or higher
Experience with software-defined networking (SDN)
Current DoD approved 8570 Level II certification such as Security+ CE
Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
