About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Administration, support and architecture of the Active Directory (AD DS) environment, including GPOs, functional levels, replication, trusts and security.
  • Operate virtualized environments, ensuring high availability, performance and resource optimization.
  • Administer Windows and Linux servers and manage integration between on-premises environments and cloud services (OCI/Cloud).
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical incidents and perform scheduled maintenance outside business hours.
  • Apply hardening policies and manage access rigorously to ensure directory services compliance.
  • Implement Disaster Recovery strategies to ensure infrastructure and data resilience.
  • Use observability tools to anticipate issues and ensure service stability.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Directory expertise: Deep experience with AD (design, troubleshooting, replication, DNS, DHCP, LDAP/Kerberos integration and security).
  • Cloud identity integration: Experience integrating on-premises AD with cloud providers (Microsoft Entra ID, OCI IAM).
  • Virtualization: Strong experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V or similar).
  • Operating Systems: Advanced administration of Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022) and Linux (Red Hat/CentOS/Ubuntu/Oracle Linux).
  • Cloud: Knowledge of cloud architecture and services (e.g., OCI, AWS or Azure).
  • Availability: Full flexibility for on-call duty (standby/rotation).
  • Networking: Knowledge of connectivity fundamentals (VLANs, VPN, routing, firewall).
  • Automation: Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python) for automating repetitive tasks.
  • Observability: Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, Grafana, Nagios, ELK Stack, Dynatrace or similar).
  • Certifications: Microsoft (Windows Server, Azure) or virtualization certifications (VCP).
  • Frameworks: Familiarity with service management and governance concepts (ITIL, TOGAF).
