About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify and recommend performance counters for performance analysis
Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to provide application performance recommendations
Analyze on-premises and cloud infrastructure to provide performance recommendations
Perform application infrastructure performance analyses
Plan application infrastructure performance strategy, including load and performance testing
Execute system performance tests to ensure reliability, capacity, scalability and to identify bottlenecks
Performance analysis and recommendations for applications using Java, JavaScript, .NET and Python
Lead the full test lifecycle, from business and architecture understanding, to script development, execution, analysis and presentation
Produce reports on Application Performance Analysis, Infrastructure and Performance Testing (Load / Stress / Spike, etc.)
Review and recommend improvements to existing testing procedures
Behavioral analysis of tests, identification of bottlenecks and deep analysis of root causes
Act as SRE in building technical solutions for Digital Platforms in hybrid infrastructure
Build automated performance test pipelines
Develop performance analysis panels and dashboards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in Application Performance Management (APM)
Experience analyzing performance indicators for operating systems, applications (Java, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, .NET) and relational and non-relational databases
Experience with Kubernetes
Knowledge of performance testing methodologies:
Stress Test
Load Test
Spike Test
Shift Left
Tools and scripting languages for creating performance test scripts
Analysis of performance metrics (transactions/s, requests/s, average response time and percentiles)
Analysis of infrastructure and application metrics
Experience in performance testing using JMeter
Experience developing scripts with shell, PowerShell, Python
Experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud)
Technical English for reading documentation
Experience analyzing middleware (JBoss, WebSphere, WebLogic, IIS)
Experience with Spring Boot
Experience with APM tools
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Experience analyzing Java environments or object-oriented languages, in Monoliths and Microservices
Desired:
Experience in performance testing using k6 or Gatling
Experience implementing Shift Left
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines – Jenkins / GitLab
Deployment of monitoring and observability tools (Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, ELK Stack)
Kubernetes certification
Associate-level certification with one of the cloud providers AWS, Azure, GCP or Oracle Cloud
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management with Terraform, Ansible or Chef
Experience optimizing infrastructure and middleware performance
Experience analyzing non-relational databases
