About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Translate clients' needs and challenges into clear, relevant, and feasible technical proposals
  • Design solution architectures aligned with Inmetrics' service portfolio
  • Lead technical discovery sessions with stakeholders of various levels, from engineers to directors
  • Build and present proofs of concept (POCs) when necessary to advance opportunities
  • Lead technical presentations and demonstrations during the sales process, including RFPs and RFIs
  • Differentiate Inmetrics through technical depth and clear business value articulation
  • Respond to clients' technical questions with accuracy and confidence
  • Create technical support materials: decks, documentation, comparisons, and case studies
  • Act as a partner to the sales team throughout the entire cycle, from qualification to closing
  • Enable the commercial team with technical knowledge, talking points, and support tools
  • Attend meetings with clients and prospects, representing Inmetrics' technical expertise
  • Contribute market intelligence: competitor movements, trends, and positioning gaps
  • Stay up to date on software quality tools and methodologies, development lifecycle, and user experience
  • Actively explore the use of AI agents in the context of quality, creating new solutions and automating pre-sales processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering within the IT services market
  • Ability to conduct technical discussions with architects, managers, and engineering teams
  • Skill in translating technical complexity into business language, connecting technology to outcomes
  • Experience in consultative sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and RFP/RFI processes
  • Familiarity with software quality processes and tools: testing, performance, monitoring, or observability
  • Quality tools, CI/CD, and shift-left and shift-right concepts
  • Digital user experience concepts
  • Experience with, or strong curiosity about, AI agents and automation applied to engineering or sales processes
  • Knowledge of the technology services market
