About the role

  • Provide technical leadership for the manual testing team, guiding activities, monitoring performance and ensuring the quality of deliveries.
  • Define and implement test plans aligned with project requirements and QA best practices.
  • Design and execute test cases, ensuring adequate coverage and traceability of results.
  • Assess test results, identify and report defects, failures and non-conformities, and ensure timely remediation.
  • Monitor metrics and ensure adherence to deadlines and goals established for the testing area.
  • Lead the QA team collaboratively, promoting continuous improvement of processes and communication between technical and business teams.
  • Perform other duties inherent to the role, contributing to the evolution of the organization’s quality processes and standards.

Requirements

  • Review project documentation, including user stories, use cases, test cases and test plans, technical specifications, flow diagrams and business plans, ensuring full understanding of all artifacts.
  • Assist in defining acceptance criteria and executing test scenarios, ensuring alignment with system requirements.
  • Execute functional tests, validating conformity between the expected and actual behavior of the product.
  • Create test evidence, perform analysis and open incident reports, and manage reported cases and occurrences.
  • Actively participate in meetings with clients and the technical team, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Gather and create test data sets, ensuring the quality and breadth of validations.
  • Report activity progress periodically, presenting execution status, defects and blockers to the project owner.
  • Train and support new team members, promoting knowledge sharing and technical development of the team.
  • Prepare study materials about the systems under test, such as business rules and test data generation processes.
  • Foster a quality mindset, encouraging a culture of excellence and failure prevention within the team.
  • Solid experience with Azure DevOps (Test Plan), working on the structuring, governance and optimization of test management.
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems (e.g., billing, provisioning, complex system integrations).
  • Advanced experience in integrated end-to-end (E2E) testing, with a systemic view and the ability to anticipate impacts across multiple applications.
  • Proficiency with databases (SQL), including data analysis, troubleshooting and validation of large volumes.
  • Solid experience validating APIs (REST/JSON), including payload analysis, contract verification and integrated flows.
  • Advanced ability to analyze complex scenarios, identify risks and define test strategies.
  • Robust experience in manual test execution, defect management and prioritization, and supporting decision-making.
