About the role
- Develop and implement analyses and analytical models
- Build and optimize data pipelines for efficient processing
- Create visualizations and dashboards that clearly communicate insights
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns and trends
- Collaborate with business teams to understand needs and requirements
- Participate in analytics projects end-to-end, from planning through implementation
- Document data analysis processes and methodologies
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Data and Analytics-related roles
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Practical experience with data analysis languages (Python, R, or Scala)
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases
- Experience with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Knowledge of statistics and data modeling techniques
- Experience implementing ETL processes
- Good communication skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Desired:
- Knowledge of machine learning and implementation of predictive models
- Experience in the financial sector or fintechs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
- Familiarity with big data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and their data services
- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Relevant certifications in Data and Analytics
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality
