About the role

  • Java 17+ and Spring Boot: development of scalable backend APIs and services.
  • Cloud and Containers: deployment and operation in the cloud using Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Development Architecture: architectural patterns, microservices, and layer organization.
  • Databases (SQL and NoSQL): modeling, queries, and persistence best practices.
  • Unit Testing: creating automated tests and supporting code quality.
  • SOLID and Clean Code: clean, decoupled, and maintainable code.
  • Versioning with Gitflow: branch workflow, merges, and controlled releases.
  • Agile methodologies: working in squads using Scrum/Kanban and agile ceremonies.
  • Messaging with Kafka: asynchronous integration, producing and consuming events.

Requirements

  • Design and implement complex solutions involving multiple systems and integrations.
  • Apply architectural, development, and public cloud best practices.
  • Serve as a technical reference, supporting critical decisions and guiding the team.
  • Remove technical blockers and ensure smooth delivery flow.
  • Ensure quality and stability through testing, best practices, and code reviews.
  • Implement and maintain observability and continuous monitoring (logs, metrics, alerts).
  • Lead end-to-end deliveries, from design through implementation and support.
  • Interact with external teams and technical stakeholders as needed.
  • Respond quickly to incidents, focusing on resolution and mitigation.
  • Work proactively to prevent failures, strengthening reliability and resilience.
