About the role

  • Responsible for providing technical leadership to the team by evaluating the performance of systems and applications, identifying performance issues and proposing solutions; conducting performance analyses of systems and components using specific techniques and methodologies; developing and/or improving tools and methods for performance analysis of systems and applications; and performing other related duties inherent to the role.

Requirements

  • **Main requirements:**
  • - Strong knowledge of distributed architecture and microservices.
  • - Experience with latency, throughput, CPU, memory and I/O analysis.
  • - Expertise in observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Kibana, Dynatrace, Datadog or similar).
  • - Experience with load testing (k6, JMeter, Gatling).
  • - Ability to review and optimize code (Java).
  • - Definition of SLIs/SLOs and performance metrics.
