About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads the delivery of analytical and consultative services across all phases of program execution, including business requirements analysis, software design, system and performance testing, and implementation.
- Plans, directs, and coordinates activities in areas such as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and software development.
- Reviews and evaluates program resources, including budget and schedule considerations.
- Analyzes user needs to define functional requirements and develops solutions for moderately complex to highly complex systems.
- Applies expertise in information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, communications protocols, risk management, software development methodologies, lifecycle management, and modeling and simulation.
- Performs functional decomposition to identify required tasks, interdependencies, and resource needs.
- Facilitates and supervises requirements-gathering sessions and ensures that business, system, and integration requirements align with program objectives.
- Evaluates alternatives and provides actionable recommendations.
- Proactively identifies, communicates, and mitigates risks, while resolving issues to minimize impacts on project success.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be eligible for a clearance. (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
- Must have 10+ years in data analytics, information systems, automation, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered as a substitution.
- Proven experience analyzing and supporting HR systems, data warehouse, and analytics solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience with data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and data integration concepts.
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as HRIS, CRM, or data warehouses.
- Solid understanding of system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or within cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with data standards and analytics best practices.
