About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure safe delivery of projects through effective use of CDM and H&S processes
- Lead the delivery of CAPEX and OPEX projects from assessment through to completion
- Develop practical, cost-effective engineering solutions to site challenges
- Work closely with stakeholders to manage priorities, risks and performance
- Provide engineering support and take ownership of issues through to resolution
- Maintain accurate reporting, communicate progress and escalate risks where needed
- Follow governance processes and ensure documentation and compliance are maintained
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in mechanical, electrical, water recycling, or project management
- Experience delivering low value, high volume projects (water sector desirable)
- Strong understanding of health & safety and CDM requirements
- Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results
- Full UK driving licence required – with travel to sites across the region and hybrid working flexibility
