Engineering Standards and Products Manager

Key responsibilities & impact- Define and deliver strategy for Anglian Water’s engineering standards and standard products
- Maintain and improve standards, ensuring alignment with national and international standards
- Lead the development and governance of standard products and proven designs
- Operate clear governance processes for standards
- Champion the value of standardisation and promote understanding through communication and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering
- Chartered Engineer (or equivalent) status with a relevant professional body
- Significant experience in engineering design or construction, ideally within water, networks or regulated infrastructure
- Proven leadership and line management experience
- Strong technical judgement, problem‑solving and communication skills
- Experience coaching, mentoring and developing engineers
- Sound understanding of safety, regulatory and environmental requirements
