About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure new adoptable sewerage assets meet national Design Construction Guidance and Anglian Water standards
Assess applications for sewer diversions to protect existing infrastructure
Provide technical advice on drainage design, sewerage law, and best practice
Deliver excellent customer service, building strong working relationships
Support innovative, sustainable drainage solutions and keep up to date with industry developments
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality asset delivery

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree or working towards a qualification in an Engineering discipline
Experience working on sewerage infrastructure design or within another Water Company
Knowledge of Sewerage Code for Adoption, DCG, and Sewerage Law
Strong communication, planning, and organisation skills
Ability to manage competing workloads and act on own initiative
Excellent numeracy, literacy, and decision-making skills
