About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Ensure operational maintenance (O&M) and Level 2/Level 3 support for the IT network
Maintain active routing and switching equipment, IP addressing, VLAN propagation and routing
Manage the opening of communication flows, access rules and NAT
Configure load-balancing services, IP front-ends and SSL certificates
Implement IPsec/SSL VPN services
Update technical architecture repositories
Participate in technology workshops with vendors and contribute to the selection of network solutions
Keep hosting infrastructure operational
Upgrade network configurations according to best practices
Investigate and resolve incidents and instabilities on devices or services
Handle daily tickets related to traffic flows, VPNs, VLANs, addressing, NAT, PKI and data extraction
Act as a technical expert for business teams and vendors
Maintain technical documentation for components and procedures
Participate in the migration to a sovereign Cloud, including migrating VMware vSphere workloads to vCD/NSX and maintaining a hybrid architecture

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master’s degree (Bac+5) minimum
Strong DevOps skills and network security expertise
At least 7 years of hands-on experience with complex network infrastructures
Proficiency with VLANs, routing, firewalls and IPS/IDS
Proficiency with Cisco SDA, SD-WAN, ISE and WLC
Experience with Fortinet and Stormshield
Experience with Zscaler Proxy
Proficiency with EfficientIP for IPAM, DHCP and DNS
Platform management using Ansible and Jenkins
Python development
Proficiency in LAN/WAN technologies: 802.1Q, EtherChannel, VTP, STP, DTP and FHRP
Proficiency with BGP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, VRF, PBR, VWP and RPF
Proficiency with DHCP, DNS, NTP, FTP/TFTP, NAT and QoS
AWS skills: VPC, EC2, Peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPG, IGW, NAT Gateway, IAM and Outposts
Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
Ability to raise alerts and escalate critical incidents
Ability to prioritize in a high-availability environment
Rigor, methodical approach, analytical and synthesis skills
Proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Team player, adaptable and highly autonomous
