About the role

  • Ensure operational maintenance (MCO) / provide Level 2 and Level 3 (N2/N3) support for the IT network
  • Maintain active equipment: routing, switching, IP addressing, VLAN propagation
  • Manage the opening of communication flows: configure access rules and implement NAT as required
  • Configure load balancing services: manage IP front-ends and SSL certificates
  • Implement IPsec/SSL VPN services to secure access
  • Update technical architecture reference documentation
  • Participate in technology workshops with vendors: guide and select network evolution solutions
  • Keep hosting infrastructures operational (RUN)
  • Upgrade network configurations in accordance with best practices
  • Investigate and resolve incidents: perform advanced analysis for equipment or service incidents/instabilities
  • Handle daily tickets: flows, VPN, VLAN, addressing, NAT, PKI, data extraction, etc.
  • Act as technical expert when liaising with business teams and vendors
  • Maintain technical documentation: document components and procedures within your scope
  • Actively participate in the migration to the sovereign cloud: support transfer of VMware vSphere workloads to vCD/NSX infrastructure and maintain a hybrid architecture

Requirements

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of operational experience on complex network infrastructures
  • Networking & security: VLAN, routing, firewall, IPS/IDS
  • Cisco solutions: SDA, SD-WAN, ISE, WLC
  • Perimeter security: Fortinet, Stormshield
  • Cloud proxies: Zscaler Proxy
  • Centralized IP management: EfficientIP (IPAM, DHCP, DNS)
  • Automation and scripting: platform management with Ansible / Jenkins
  • Python development for continuous improvement
  • LAN/WAN technologies: 802.1Q (Dot1q), EtherChannel, VTP, STP, DTP, FHRP
  • Traffic engineering: BGP, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, VRF, PBR, VWP, RPF
  • Infrastructure services: DHCP, DNS, NTP, FTP/TFTP, NAT, QoS
  • Cloud skills — AWS: VPC, EC2, Peering, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPG, IGW, NAT Gateway, IAM, Outposts
