About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Qualification, classification and handling of support tickets in 1st and 2nd level support for hardware and software
- Network and server administration of various IT services, e.g. access control systems, user management, patch management, software distribution, UC systems and groupware
- IT administration tasks, e.g. asset management, procurement, documentation, employee onboarding/offboarding
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of clients, peripherals and, where applicable, server components
- Documentation of solutions and processes and maintenance of knowledge base articles
- Participation in IT projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training, e.g. IT Specialist in System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in customer-oriented IT support
- Good knowledge of Windows and/or Linux environments on clients and servers
- Knowledge of common network technologies (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience administering users and groups in Microsoft Active Directory
- Experience with ticketing and monitoring systems
- Strong service orientation, quick comprehension and good communication skills
- Analytical thinking, independent and structured working style, team player
- Excellent German and good English skills are required.
