About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Research companies and industry associations using the LobbyMap methodology, building a detailed picture of how they shape climate and nature policy
- Produce sharp, data-driven analysis that stands up to scrutiny, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency
- Turn complex findings into a clear written analysis that explains what the data and scoring mean
- Share your insights with the investors, civil society groups, media, and companies that rely on our work
- Help build InfluenceMap's profile and influence in Japan as a trusted voice on corporate climate policy engagement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Native Japanese language skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken
- International exposure in your background, such as time spent studying or working overseas, and a feel for both Japanese and Western business cultures
- A strong analytical mind and a genuine eye for detail, with the patience to get the data right
- The ability to explain complex issues and data-driven analysis clearly and convincingly
- Confidence with common IT and software applications, and a willingness to learn our tools
- The right to work in Japan
