About the role
- Lead technical integrations for acquisitions, including infrastructure assessment, security posture, data migration, identity harmonization, and consolidation of cloud environments;
- Develop and execute technical integration plans, including identity management, data migration, and systems harmonization;
- Administer and optimize Azure and AWS cloud environments for governance, security, networking, patching, automation, and monitoring;
- Manage and scale production systems;
- Collaborate with teams to improve performance, reliability, and security;
- Implement and monitor cloud cost-optimization strategies;
- Oversee system monitoring, backup processes, patch schedules, and operational maintenance;
- Supervise user provisioning, identity lifecycle management (IAM), and access governance in cloud systems;
- Manage cloud costs, usage reporting, and budget oversight;
- Ensure high-quality technical integration for acquisitions;
- Act as technical lead for SOC 2 Type II and ISO compliance;
- Leverage security and compliance services in Azure and AWS;
- Guide governance frameworks for identity, access, data protection, and cloud security posture;
- Work closely with M&A teams and acquired companies;
- Continuously improve Remsoft's IT handbook and cloud operational frameworks;
- Provide senior-level guidance and escalation support for internal user issues and platform troubleshooting;
- Provide specialized guidance on cloud scalability, security, and performance best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Deep expertise in administration and infrastructure: Azure, AWS, and Microsoft 365;
- Strong experience in cloud governance, identity management, security controls, networking, and automation;
- Experience with security and compliance services in Azure and AWS;
- Familiarity with ESRI solutions;
- 7+ years of experience in systems administration, cloud engineering, or similar technical leadership roles;
- Proven experience managing at least one technical M&A systems integration;
- Proven experience implementing or managing SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar frameworks;
- Experience with cross-cloud infrastructure and security design;
- Fluent in English.
