About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deploy and support INFICON semiconductor products, focusing on FabGuard fault detection and classification (FDC) software
  • Support INFICON sensors as needed
  • Partner with tool owners to determine tool, sensor, and wafer logistics data to trace in FabGuard
  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
  • Give written and oral customer feedback on applications work, process troubleshooting, FDC development, and advanced analysis techniques
  • Provide onsite training on INFICON products, FabGuard FDC software, hardware usage, and basic troubleshooting
  • Support installation of INFICON software and hardware as needed
  • Travel to customer and other sites as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
  • 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and OEM equipment, including lithography, PVD, CVD, Etch, and CMP
  • Experience in Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), computer networking, factory automation, and/or FabGuard products is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Adaptability and ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
  • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills for solving complex problems
  • Highly organized with proficient computer skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%, with additional travel opportunities available
