About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Deploy and support INFICON semiconductor products, focusing on FabGuard fault detection and classification (FDC) software
- Support INFICON sensors as needed
- Partner with tool owners to determine tool, sensor, and wafer logistics data to trace in FabGuard
- Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers
- Give written and oral customer feedback on applications work, process troubleshooting, FDC development, and advanced analysis techniques
- Provide onsite training on INFICON products, FabGuard FDC software, hardware usage, and basic troubleshooting
- Support installation of INFICON software and hardware as needed
- Travel to customer and other sites as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or a related scientific field
- 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing and OEM equipment, including lithography, PVD, CVD, Etch, and CMP
- Experience in Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), computer networking, factory automation, and/or FabGuard products is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Adaptability and ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills for solving complex problems
- Highly organized with proficient computer skills
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, with additional travel opportunities available
