About the role
- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the game and its content
- Interact with and moderate internal communities (Discord, forums, social media)
- Edit and localize short-form videos for the Spanish market (3 per week per language)
- Provide timely professional support to players, influencers, and partners via community channels and DMs
- Perform light video editing to add subtitles, voice-over, or localized language elements using provided source content
- Share news, announcements, and videos across relevant social channels
- Collaborate with Team Lead and Graphic Designer to deliver content and campaigns
- Engage with local gaming communities through local gaming channels
- Grow the community via marketing, communications, and content initiatives
- Provide daily feedback reports on community activity (internal & external)
- Work full-time (35-40 hours/week) on a 3-month contract with potential extension
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish (Native) and English (written and spoken)
- Deep understanding of the local gaming community and social platforms
- Strong writing and engagement style in both languages
- Experience in community and social media roles
- Comfortable managing multiple community platforms and reporting on trends
- Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple platforms
- Ability to edit and localize short-form videos (3 per week per language) or willingness to learn
- Light video editing (subtitles, voice-over, localization) or willingness to learn (AI tools and training provided)
- Ability and willingness to do voiceovers and appear on camera (major plus)
- Gamer/background in video game industry preferred
- Must be able to start immediately
- Available to work full-time (35-40 hours per week)
- This is a 3-month contract role (possibility to extend)
