About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain applications within the banking domain.
Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA Engineers in a self-organizing Agile (Scrum) team.
Ensure the security and reliability of developed solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 5 years of commercial experience in Java development.
Strong knowledge of Java 17.
Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience working with Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of RDBMS databases.
Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design principles, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, and Clean Code.
Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
Nice to Have: Experience with Apache Cassandra.
Basic knowledge of Python.
Experience working in complex, highly integrated environments.
Understanding of testable software design and automated testing practices.
Experience with data modeling and SQL query optimization.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
