About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain applications within the banking domain.
- Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA Engineers in a self-organizing Agile (Scrum) team.
- Ensure the security and reliability of developed solutions.
- Create and maintain unit and automated tests.
- Work with large-scale datasets of various structures.
- Integrate applications with internal banking systems.
- Optimize and enhance existing solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of commercial experience in Java development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 17.
- Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience working with Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of RDBMS databases.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design principles, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, and Clean Code.
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
- Nice to Have: Experience with Apache Cassandra.
- Basic knowledge of Python.
- Experience working in complex, highly integrated environments.
- Understanding of testable software design and automated testing practices.
- Experience with data modeling and SQL query optimization.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
