About the role

  • Provide technical support for COBOL applications.
  • Analyze and resolve complex incidents, ensuring the quality of deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership to the application maintenance team (developers, analysts).
  • Participate in the design of enhancements and conduct code reviews.
  • Implement and enforce best practices (standards, performance, security).
  • Act as the primary technical contact for the client (technical committee, reporting).
  • Contribute to application modernization (migration, optimization).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in COBOL development.
  • Proficiency with agile development environments.
  • Ability to produce high-quality, performant, and secure code.
  • Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Hold a Master’s degree (Bac+5) with at least 3 years of software development experience.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as COBOL.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
