About the role
- Develop high-quality graphical elements, including charts, graphs, and infographics, optimized for reports, presentations, and digital platforms such as IEEFA’s website, newsletters, and social media channels
- Collaborate with IEEFA analysts and communications team to identify key insights from research and turn them into clear, engaging visual stories
- Format and visually enhance reports, presentations, and other organizational documents, ensuring consistency with brand and style guidelines
- Manage the design, layout, and distribution of email newsletters using HubSpot and Canva with attention to audience engagement and performance
- Optimize and enhance the Asia section of the IEEFA website by creating and updating reports and related content, and by developing engaging elements such as story scrolling, interactive visuals, and other user-focused features
- Produce and edit short-form videos as needed to support digital storytelling
- Update collaborative workflow platforms to keep track of project progress
- Contribute to organizational impact reporting, including the creation of clear and compelling visuals that demonstrate reach, influence, and outcomes
- Contribute to global and regional communications initiatives and projects as required
- Maintain high standards of clarity, accessibility, and consistency across all visual materials

Requirements
- A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in data visualization, graphic design, information design, data science, journalism, economics, or a related field
- 4 to 7 years of demonstrated professional experience producing high-quality graphical visualizations for reports, digital platforms, or public-facing communications
- A visual portfolio demonstrating experience in translating complex data into clear, compelling, and well-designed visualizations across a range of formats
- Ability to explain visual design decisions clearly to non-design audiences
- Strong understanding of project management, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud is essential; experience with video production is strongly preferred
- Experience in programming tools such as Python and Java, and design platforms including Flourish and Canva

- Full-time 12-month fixed-term employment contract with the option of extension by mutual agreement and a market competitive remuneration
