About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Overall responsibility for the IT organization including infrastructure, cloud, ERP, finance, HR and collaboration systems
  • Lead and further develop the existing IT team and support the continued expansion of the organization
  • Manage a multi-year ERP transformation program with high strategic relevance
  • Develop and implement a future-ready IT strategy aligned with the company’s objectives
  • Build a scalable IT operating model for a growing corporate group
  • Harmonize and standardize IT structures across multiple subsidiaries
  • Integrate acquired companies into existing IT processes and systems as part of M&A and post-merger activities
  • Manage external service providers, implementation partners and technology vendors
  • Responsible for IT governance, information security, data protection and compliance requirements
  • Plan and control relevant IT budgets
  • Work closely with executive management, Finance, Operations, HR and international stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • University degree in (business) informatics, business administration or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of leadership experience in IT, ideally in decentralized and growth-oriented company structures
  • Proven experience leading large transformation, ERP or organizational projects
  • Solid knowledge of IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud, ERP, IT governance and operating models
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder landscapes and external service providers
  • Ideally experience in buy-and-build, M&A or post-merger integration environments
  • Strong commercial/business understanding and experience in IT budget management
  • Entrepreneurial thinking combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to successfully drive change processes
  • Fluent German and English (business/professional proficiency)
  • Willingness to be regularly on-site in the Frankfurt area
