About the role

  • Assist in the preparation and posting of accounting entries.
  • Perform account and bank reconciliations.
  • Support the preparation of accounting and financial reports.
  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closings.
  • Assist in analyzing account variances and in expense control.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal procedures.
  • Maintain organization and filing of accounting documents.
  • Provide support for internal and external audits by supplying necessary documents and information.
  • Participate in training and ongoing development in accounting practices.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field (currently studying or recently graduated).
  • 1–2 years of accounting experience is desirable but not required.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP).
  • Experience with the Protheus ERP system is a plus.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software.
  • Analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Basic to intermediate English is desirable.
