About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Installation, configuration and deployment of modern Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management Systems (DMS)
- Administration and maintenance of complex Windows system landscapes, including performing software updates and release upgrades
- Setup, configuration and optimization of technical interfaces, as well as execution of data migrations
- Analysis and resolution of technical issues via remote access as part of 2nd-level support
- Close collaboration with the client's 1st-level support team to achieve sustainable solutions
- Direct interaction with customers to analyze technical requirements and develop tailored solutions
- Support IT consultants and project teams with technical questions
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and knowledge bases
- Work in a 19-member team divided into three specialized departments
- Actively contribute to and continuously optimize existing IT infrastructures and system landscapes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, vocational training as an IT Specialist in System Integration, or an equivalent IT qualification
- Professional experience as an IT System Engineer, System Administrator, IT Consultant, IT Support Engineer, Technical Consultant or a similar role
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server environment
- Experience administering complex IT infrastructures
- Solid knowledge of networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, Active Directory, network communication or similar technologies)
- Experience with SQL and a basic understanding of databases
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language and the ability to analyze and interpret scripts — without being required to develop software
- Analytical mindset and enthusiasm for understanding complex technical issues
- Strong service- and customer-orientation with a confident manner in direct client interactions
- Team player with initiative and a structured way of working
- Fluent German language skills and good English skills.
