About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership and further develop a specialized team of experts
- Responsible for achieving the department's strategic and operational objectives
- Initiate, steer and implement cross-departmental projects and transformation initiatives
- Further develop and optimize central governance and management systems, particularly in information security management, risk management, business continuity management, data protection, emergency and crisis management, vulnerability and incident management
- Ensure efficient processes and continuously improve quality and security standards
- Identify, assess and manage relevant risks
- Promote an open, collaborative corporate culture and active knowledge sharing
Requirements
What you’ll need- University degree in a technical, business or organizational discipline, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of professional experience in information security, governance, compliance or quality management
- Experience leading teams or managing project organizations
- Deep knowledge of established information security standards, particularly ISO/IEC 27001
- Excellent understanding of security processes, governance structures and modern cybersecurity requirements
- Analytical thinking with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication and facilitation skills across all hierarchy levels
- Business-fluent German and good command of English
