About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide technical and disciplinary leadership and further develop a specialized team of experts
Responsible for achieving the department's strategic and operational objectives
Initiate, steer and implement cross-departmental projects and transformation initiatives
Further develop and optimize central governance and management systems, particularly in information security management, risk management, business continuity management, data protection, emergency and crisis management, vulnerability and incident management
Ensure efficient processes and continuously improve quality and security standards
Identify, assess and manage relevant risks
Promote an open, collaborative corporate culture and active knowledge sharing

Requirements

What you’ll need

University degree in a technical, business or organizational discipline, or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in information security, governance, compliance or quality management
Experience leading teams or managing project organizations
Deep knowledge of established information security standards, particularly ISO/IEC 27001
Excellent understanding of security processes, governance structures and modern cybersecurity requirements
Analytical thinking with a structured and solution-oriented approach to work
Strong communication and facilitation skills across all hierarchy levels
Business-fluent German and good command of English
