About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

You develop high-performance, scalable backend services in Go that efficiently process large volumes of data and run in a containerized cloud environment.
You design and implement robust REST interfaces that enable seamless integration of our services.
You model relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Google Cloud Spanner, BigQuery, Datastore, Redis) and ensure efficient data processing.
Automated tests, regular code reviews, and comprehensive quality assurance are standard practice for you to ensure the stability of our systems.
You take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of our services — from development through production operation, including monitoring and troubleshooting.
You develop and maintain our cloud infrastructure, with a particular focus on services within the Google Cloud Platform.
The protection and integrity of our data are your responsibility — implemented through modern security and data protection measures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

You have a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in backend development.
Very strong knowledge of Go, SQL, and REST API design.
Experience with Python, Django, TypeScript, or React is a welcome plus.
You are experienced in developing automated tests and have a quality-conscious approach to your work.
Containerization with Docker is second nature to you, as is working with modern cloud platforms (ideally GCP).
