About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and maintain Salesforce environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user accessibility.
- Extensively work with Copado to set up, configure, and manage deployment pipelines for Salesforce.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure smooth deployments and releases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployments, mergers, and environment synchronization.
- Lead and guide best practices around Salesforce DevOps, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather technical requirements, implement solutions, and provide post-deployment support.
- Regularly review and clean metadata in Salesforce environments.
- Keep abreast of the latest Salesforce updates and features, ensuring our environment leverages the best and latest functionalities.
- Assist in training and guiding other team members on best practices related to Salesforce and Copado.
Requirements
What you’ll need- US citizen or lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years with an ability to obtain Public Trust level clearance
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Salesforce Admin and Advanced Admin certifications required
- Minimum of 7 experience as a Salesforce Admin, with a strong focus on DevOps
- Proven expertise in using Copado or a similar tool for Salesforce CI/CD pipeline setup and management
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, environment management, and deployment methodologies
- Proficient in tools related to Salesforce DevOps, including version control, data migration, and metadata management
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
- Collaborative team player with a proactive approach
