Key responsibilities & impact

Provide service to existing clients related to updating policies
Answer customer calls and correspondence regarding new or existing insurance policies
Work with new clients to finalize and bind new coverage
Confer with customers to provide detailed information about products and services
Resolve product or service issues
Maintain records of customer interactions and transactions
Collaborate with team members and mentor staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hold the insurance license required by your state
Minimum of two years of insurance account management experience
Bachelor’s Degree or comparable work experience
Strong knowledge of insurance products and usages
Demonstrate strong customer focus and excellent phone manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent math and reading skills
Attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills
Technology and computer proficiency including agency management systems
