About the role
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial clients.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and insurance requirements.
- Conduct regular client meetings to review policies, discuss renewals, and provide strategic insurance advice.
- Analyze and assess clients' existing insurance policies to identify coverage gaps and recommend appropriate changes or enhancements.
- Collaborate with insurance company underwriters to negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing on behalf of clients.
- Process policy endorsements, renewals, and new business applications efficiently and accurately.
- Propose comprehensive risk management strategies to help clients minimize their exposure to potential losses.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments for clients' businesses to identify potential risks and exposures.
- Assist clients throughout the claims process, acting as an advocate to ensure timely and fair claims settlements.
- Work closely with claims adjusters and insurance carriers to expedite claims resolutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions that may impact clients' insurance needs.
- Educate clients on insurance products, coverage options, and risk management strategies to help them make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales, underwriting, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Ensure all client records, policy documents, and communications are accurately maintained and comply with company policies and industry regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, Insurance Account Executive, or similar role within the insurance industry.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting guidelines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in using insurance industry software.
- Valid Texas insurance license.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the insurance field.
