About the role
- Provide one-on-one therapy to clients in various settings including our Centers, homes and/or schools.
- Follow the behavior intervention plans designed by BCBAs.
- Accurately collect and record data on client behaviors and responses during therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with the supervising BCBAs to track and report client progress.
- Utilize approved behavior reduction techniques and strategies.
- Assist clients in acquiring and developing functional skills, communication abilities, and appropriate social behaviors.
- Provide training and support to parents/caregivers on implementing behavior intervention techniques.
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and helping others.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must meet all BACB eligibility requirements to obtain RBT certification.
- Ability to pass the required RBT certification exam within the training period.
- Must obtain and maintain required RBT certification through the BACB.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
