About the role
- Developing skill acquisition programs and behavior intervention plans
- Monitoring client progress and analyzing data
- Modifying client interventions
- Training RBTs on client-specific interventions
- Conducting treatment integrity checks and competencies with RBTs
- Conducting assessment and reassessment activities
- Conceptualizing client treatment needs and developing individualized goals
- Observing and participating in caregiver trainings
- Providing direct work with clients
Requirements
- Full completion of field experience and supervision hours required for BCBA eligibility
- Meet all BACB requirements to sit for BCBA exam
- Committed to sit for BCBA exam within 60 days
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical capacity to move quickly and respond to potentially aggressive/challenging behavior and de-escalate challenging situations with clients
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, kneeling, bending, squatting, running and/or sitting in order to interact with clients and to implement prescribed interventions
- Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds to assist with client positioning or mobility
- Adequate vision and hearing are needed to work with clients and staff
- Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity to operate office equipment and other necessary tools
