About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, prospect and win new clients for the Talent service line, focusing on SMEs across Australia and Asia Pacific.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients through market research, networking, outreach and industry events.
  • Pitch and negotiate recruitment mandates, agreeing scope, terms and fees with new and existing clients.
  • Represent Australiance Group at events and networking opportunities to build the Talent brand and generate new business.
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for own client mandates, including briefing, sourcing, screening, interviewing and shortlisting candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and clients and manage offer negotiation through to placement.
  • Build and maintain a strong network and talent pipeline across the Australian and Asia Pacific markets.
  • Ensure a high-quality candidate experience and a 5-star service standard throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain long-term relationships with clients and candidates to encourage retention, repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Community and Access teams to identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Advise clients on hiring strategy and market/salary trends.
  • Support clients with international hiring needs, leveraging the group's presence in France and Africa where relevant.
  • Stay informed about market trends, salary benchmarks and talent availability in areas of specialisation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • ~5+ years' experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally in a 360° agency role combining business development and delivery.
  • Proven track record of winning new clients and successfully delivering recruitment mandates.
  • Based in Sydney, with strong knowledge of the local talent market.
  • French speaking required (or a very strong plus), given regular collaboration with France-based teams and clients.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, hunter mentality, and strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with founders or SMEs is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Enthusiastic, sociable, proactive, and eager to grow into a leadership role within the Talent service line.
