Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack applications using Python, React.js, and modern API frameworks.
Build secure, scalable backend services, responsive user interfaces, and RESTful/event-driven APIs.
Implement authentication, authorization, secure integration patterns, and OWASP-aligned coding practices.
Develop clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer code reviews.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues across the full technology stack.
Lead and contribute to system architecture and design activities, including High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), system diagrams, data flows, API contracts, and implementation approaches.
Ensure solutions meet enterprise standards for scalability, resiliency, performance, security, and maintainability.
Design, build, and support AWS cloud-native solutions leveraging services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
Develop and support CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities.
Support performance tuning, capacity planning, cost optimization, and cloud security controls.
Collaborate with security teams to implement IAM, networking, and compliance requirements within a DevSecOps delivery model.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, story estimation, and solution design discussions.
Translate complex requirements into actionable development tasks and deliver technical solutions.
Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical guidance.
Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architecture artifacts.
Serve as a technical partner to product owners, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
Must currently reside in the Continental United States.
Must be open to working during Eastern Standard Time business hours to meet customer requirements.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Must be able to prioritize and self-start.
Must be adaptable/flexible as priorities shift.
Must be enthusiastic and have passion for learning and constant improvement.
Must be open to collaboration, feedback and client asks.
Must enjoy working with a vibrant team of outgoing personalities.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited university.
Must have 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Must possess hands-on experience developing full-stack, production-grade applications using Python (backend) and React.js (frontend).
Must possess proven experience with system design, architecture, High-Level Design (HLD), and Low-Level Design (LLD).
Must have strong experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
Must possess experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.
Must possess experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
Must possess experience with performance testing, load testing, and application optimization.
Must have knowledge of resiliency patterns, including fault tolerance, retries, and circuit breakers.
