About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manually merge immunization records in PIERS possible duplicate case queues
- Merge duplicate immunization records identified by providers reporting to PIERS
- Separate records that are comingled or incorrectly merged
- Resolve data discrepancies in patient records
- Identify trends in duplicate record creation
- Suggest improvements to IIS matching and merging processes
- Develop, update, and maintain standard operating procedures for manual record merging and separation
- Process immunization record requests and change requests
- Provide PIERS hotline support for public inquiries
- Communicate with the public by phone and email regarding immunization record requests
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of PIERS data
- Collaborate with IIS staff to resolve duplicate and comingled records
- Assist with other related tasks and duties as necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must reside within a commutable distance from Harrisburg, PA
- Must be able to report to the Department of Health office location on an as-needed basis
- Visa type: GC & USC
- Ability to manually merge immunization records in PIERS
- Ability to merge duplicate immunization records identified by providers
