About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the development and execution of automated test cases for web and API-based applications
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing test automation frameworks
- Participate in functional, regression, and end-to-end testing activities
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and document defects clearly
- Collaborate with developers and QA engineers to understand requirements and improve test coverage
- Contribute to troubleshooting and debugging of application and test failures
- Help document test scenarios, test cases, and automation processes
- Gain exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution workflows
- Learn and apply best practices in software quality assurance and test automation
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Basic understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies
- Initial programming experience (e.g., TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, or similar)
- Familiarity with web technologies and APIs (REST) is a plus
- Basic knowledge of automation tools or willingness to learn (e.g., Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git/GitHub)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
