About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning and developing software for custom machines using programmable logic controllers (PLCs)
Testing and/or simulating software functionality on the PC using innovative virtual commissioning software
Creating visualizations and operator interfaces
Independently executing projects and closely coordinating with customers
Driving projects forward with cost-conscious attention to timelines and milestones
Delivering the developed software directly to the customer
Performing independent virtual commissioning
In some cases, independently commissioning systems at customer sites
Integrating systems into higher-level systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in electrical engineering or completed electrical engineering vocational training with further qualification as a technician
Bachelor’s degree, for example in electrical engineering or automation engineering, or comparable qualification
5 years of experience in software development with CODESYS and Beckhoff/TwinCAT3
Ideally experience in robot programming with Stäubli or KUKA
Independent and structured working style
Good analytical skills
Solution-oriented approach
Strong communication skills and customer orientation
Business-fluent to very good German and English (spoken and written)
