About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Planning and development of software for special-purpose machines using programmable logic controllers
Testing and/or simulation of software functionality on PC
Commissioning of systems at customers’ sites, both virtually and on-site
Creating workflows for customer-specific applications
Supporting the programming of associated applications in IEC 61131-3
Developing visualizations and operator interfaces

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in electrical engineering or an electrical apprenticeship with further training to become a technician
Experience in robot programming (Stäubli, KUKA) advantageous
Excellent knowledge of software development with CodeSys and Beckhoff TwinCAT 3
Independent and structured way of working
Strong analytical skills
Solution-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills and customer focus
Willingness to travel for customer commissioning (mostly in the greater Stuttgart area) and availability for international assignments (USA)
Fluent German and English communication skills
