Key responsibilities & impact

Design solutions, not just configurations
Lead structured discovery and design workshops with client process owners — turning operational complexity into clear solution designs
Translate bulk logistics requirements into clean, scalable SAP solutions — prioritizing standard processes and clean extensions
Challenge client requests and help them understand the underlying business need
Cover the full secondary distribution scope: supply nominations, logistics planning, carrier management, quantity and quality reconciliation, automated settlement — including complex areas such as left on board, temperature and density gain/loss, ADR and compartment handling, and contractual tolerance management
Move conversations beyond the system: what does a better settlement process mean for write-offs? What does tighter supply planning mean for working capital? What does automation mean for headcount and error rates?
Help clients build the internal case for solution investments — ROI, risk framing, and quantifying operational improvements
Identify opportunities beyond the project scope and articulate their business impact
Act as Implico's quality anchor on partner-led implementations — review solution designs, identify gaps, and step in when complexity exceeds the partner's expertise
Advise implementation partners on process and design decisions — share your expertise to raise the quality across the ecosystem, not just on your own projects
Support partners in handling tricky scenarios: ADR edge cases, settlement reconciliation, left on board disputes
Feed your process knowledge into Implico's AI tooling and accelerator library — help convert domain expertise into scalable assets
Contribute reusable workshop formats, process templates, and standard delivery frameworks
Pilot AI-supported delivery approaches in live projects — documentation, gap analysis, and UAT support

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years of SAP consulting experience in bulk logistics — ideally with SDM, though strong SD/MM or TM experience in oil, gas, or chemicals is a valid alternative
Deep understanding of secondary distribution and a desire to master it: supply nominations, logistics scheduling, automated settlement — and bulk-specific details such as left on board, temperature and density corrections, ADR and compartment handling, and product tolerance bands
Ability to lead workshops with process owners and drive them to a decision
End-to-end process thinking before configuration steps
Comfortable working with implementation partners — guiding, reviewing, and challenging when necessary
Interest in the business value of solutions — not just their technical correctness
Genuine curiosity about AI and modern technologies — BTP, Clean Core, AI-assisted delivery — and enthusiasm to build with these technologies, not just observe them
