About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for an assigned book of HNW individuals, family offices, foundations, and corporate clients
  • Support client onboarding from signed engagement through full activation, including documentation collection, digital tools access, and portfolio/account setup
  • Plan, schedule, and prepare client meetings, account reviews, and educational touchpoints
  • Assemble presentations, performance snapshots, and service metrics, and capture follow-ups in CRM
  • Triage client requests, make decisions within operating procedures, and shepherd deliverables across Investments, Operations, Legal/Compliance, Marketing, and Client Service
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and support reporting on service levels, onboarding status, and retention/expansion indicators
  • Identify process improvements for onboarding, client communications, and handoffs, and document best practices
  • Manage a complex and strategically important client portfolio
  • Set annual engagement plans and goals covering asset gathering, referrals, cross-selling, and other new business objectives
  • Resolve escalated client issues and nuanced service requests, coordinating with senior client engagement leadership when needed
  • Translate client goals into internal briefs that inform recommended next steps and education plans
  • Capture client feedback and route insights to leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Represent the organization in client meetings and selected events and support logistics and follow-through
  • Perform additional responsibilities aligned with the role

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of experience in client-facing relationship management, account management, client service, or consultative support within investment/wealth management, private funds, philanthropy/DAF, or impact investing
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated success managing sophisticated stakeholder relationships, coordinating multi-party deliverables, and driving follow-through
  • Strong working knowledge of public and private market investment terms and concepts
  • Substantive experience in impact investing and/or values-aligned investment strategies
  • Working knowledge of impact/values-aligned investing and the organization’s offerings
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple concurrent client workstreams
  • Consistent use of CRM for notes, tasks, and pipeline stage updates
  • High professionalism, discretion, and judgment when handling confidential information and investor relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Box and Asana
  • Experience working in a virtual working environment
  • Knowledge and passion for using investing to engender social or environmental impact
