About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the client engagement team and establish clear performance expectations and accountability
  • Build scalable team infrastructure, operating rhythms, KPI frameworks, CRM usage, and performance-review processes
  • Hire, develop, retain, and create growth paths for a high-performing client engagement team
  • Serve as escalation point for complex client issues and coordinate resolutions with senior leaders and executives
  • Ensure excellent onboarding for complex or strategic client relationships
  • Establish annual engagement plans for top-tier clients, including cross-selling, retention, and contribution goals
  • Coordinate cross-functional handoffs from prospecting through onboarding and ongoing servicing
  • Maintain a multi-quarter client experience improvement plan
  • Identify client-needs patterns to inform product development, service design, and organizational priorities
  • Represent the client voice in strategy sessions affecting marketing, business development, and product decisions
  • Partner across Business Development, Marketing, Legal/Compliance, Investments, and Operations
  • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and client-facing special projects
  • Report to the Chief Growth & Impact Officer

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of experience engaging with institutional, UHNW, or family-office clients
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Experience hiring, developing, and managing client-facing teams
  • Strong knowledge of public and private market investment terms and concepts
  • Substantive experience in impact investing and/or values-aligned investment strategies
  • Success managing sophisticated stakeholder relationships and coordinating multi-party deliverables
  • Ability to engage credibly with investment professionals and clients on impact and investing topics
  • Experience building relationships across institutional and private-investor ecosystems
  • Experience setting and driving cross-selling, retention, and expansion goals
  • Experience designing and scaling client-facing operational infrastructure, KPI frameworks, CRM systems, and performance rhythms
  • Ability to analyze client data and insights
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with sophisticated clients
  • Ability to create and deliver audience-tailored presentations
  • Ability to develop urgency around processing and response timelines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
  • Proficiency with cloud-based collaboration tools such as Box and Asana
  • Experience working in a virtual environment
  • Knowledge of and passion for using investing to create social or environmental impact
