About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Implement effective behavior management strategies

- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans

Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in education/related field
- Must have or be eligible for certification by OSPI with an endorsement in Elementary Education (within 1-month of employment required)
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a food handler certification
- Must be able to obtain then provide an academic transcript if hired
- Offer is contingent upon passing a fingerprint and background check
- Complete SafeSchools trainings
- Preferred: 1+ years experience delivering rigorous and engaging instruction in a K-12 setting
- Preferred: Substitute Teaching certification
- Ability to perform the stated physical demands, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, lifting and carrying
- In-person availability for a part-time school-year position
